A Family Business
The idea started back in 2021, when I walked into the kitchen and saw the cardboard cut out that my husband had made for this 'idea'. I giggled a little bit because I thought, 'how on earth are we going to do this?' Times were a bit tougher, due to Covid, so I really didn't know how we were going to make this happen. This is when we put a pause on the idea. It wasn't until a bit later, when we started experimenting with different materials and made our first ever iglOven!
When I tell you, this thing was impossible to move. It was an absolute flop (we still get a good giggle out of it). Nevertheless, we continued experimenting and with that, we got our first order! We actually couldn't believe it. It was rather nerve-wracking, but also very exciting. We were finally confident in our product, and continued improving our methods as time went on. Today we are very grateful to be able to say that we have ovens all over South Africa!
